Rottcher Wineries

Rottcher Wineries, which has been a landmark of the Lowveld for the past 50 years, is well worth a visit.

At this cellar unique orange beverages are fermented in the old-fashioned way. Avalencia, a delicious sweet drink with an alcohol content of 14,5%, can be enjoyed as an alternative to sherry or port. It is also delicious mixed into a spritzer with soda water and ice.

The cellar also produces Avalencia Ginger and Avalencia Chilli.
