Tilly’s customized candles and handmade glass factory and retail outlet, which was established some seven years ago as a small business enterprise, today has blossomed into a successful company with three shops and exporting to the likes of America, Holland, Seychelles and UAE. Only the best quality wax, wicks and candle pigments are employed to ensure optimum usage in the candle manufacturing process. Some five years ago Tilly ventured into glass fusing and slumping to compliment the candle business. A specialty glass range includes the exquisite handmade oil lamps manufactured in different shapes and sizes in the most beautiful jewel colours. These are a completely original concept designed and developed by Tilly herself. Inspiration for the colours applied, whether it is in candles or the glassware, comes from the magnificent South African sunrise, sunset, our skies and oceans, our vegetation and soil. |
